can you get a smoke tail lens and bulb with out switching over to the led, im looking for one for my x bones, and all the stealer uses are harley or kuryaken led`s.
They're a waste of money, my opinion anyway.
I had a smoked taillight and had to use a LED bulb with it because a regular bulb would melt the lens, it wasn't very bright and everyone I rode with complained about not being able to see it making it dangerous as well.
I changed it out this spring for the HD Tri-bar LED taillight and Iâm really happy with it, itâs very bright, looks great, and should fit your Bonesâ fender.
I dont have the tri-bar but I have the other H.D. smoked L.E.D and its really bright It was a bit pricey but I had a X-mas gift certificate so I did not have to feel the pain.
have to agree with Rabbit_ .... the smoked LED taillight conversion is not a very good idea. good visibility at night, but during the day one can barely see the brake light come on ... make cruising the canyons with some of the guys who have one an exercise in developing ones response time *lol* jk not really a laughing matter, i think it's dangerous!
