I have a softail and a roadking and when i ride either of my bikes my tail boan hurts after just and hour of riding. I think i need a better seat? Gel? Help!
sorry i didnt see the whole message but i have gel inserts on my softtail and i can ride for like 12 hrs of riding and not have ne problems so you might want to try that before you buy a new seat, mine cost like $120 but i dunno how much they would be where you live and hope i have helped alil
Well if you go with a new seat I would try a Corbin or a Mustang. They make great seats and after a short break in on the Mustang a great comfort to your bottom side. It takes longer with the corbin but I have never had a more comfortable seat after it was broke in to my back side.
i have a corbin on my fatboy and it takes a while to break it in about 1000 miles but after that it is very comfortable. Its not a soft seat though it distributes your weight evenly
i have had several bikes, each with multiple seats.Even my current heritage has a custom HD seat, a lepera, and a day-long seat. Check out the web page i attached. Most comfortable seat I have ever had. I was referred by someone here on forum, and although it wasnt cheap, worth every dollar.
I also have a night train, spent $140 and sent it to mean city cycles had foam removed so i am lower and sit further back. also added memory foam also, real comfortable. But nothing compares to day-long!
I am looking at getting my stock seat re-done with a visit to Mean City but from the looks of it for an additional 400.00 I can get the Day-long, although I do have to be without my seat for a while with the day-long route.
Can you say more about the mean City conversion? Was it worth it, how much longer can you ride in comparison to the stock seat?
