Im 5'10" and I the stock seat hieght is 30" unladen and 26.5" laden for a 180lb person so Harley reckon, Im not quite 180lb I didn't feel comfortable with my legs at nearly full stretch, lowering the bike made all the difference and I reckon it looks better lowered

Hduk,
Just curious how tall are you? I'm thinking with a stock seat height of just over 26" it will be ok for me 5'11". I'm with you though low is the way to go.
Had the bones two weeks and love it...I also have an Ultra and this is a great contrast...had some foam taken out of the solo seat and bought some 2" springs on ebay...(got two sets by mistake, one is for sale)...should bring the seat down to the right height.
No issues, Rides great, and the floorboards really make a huge difference. Lay on the trottle, and the bike does the rest!!!
2. How about suspension and seating position are they comfortable on a long ride?
Im 5'8 and didnt need to adjust the seat, the bike fits my style of riding perfect, Coming from a Streetbob with
a corbin Solo, I feel or my @ss feels that the saddles are very similar. Still need breaking in.
The Hd brawler seat looks awsome on the bones, and is more cushy than the stock bones chair for sure.
***Any suggestions or must-have mods would be appreciated also....
Get rid of the stock slip ons, plus your going to need a fuel management system and stage 1 air kit.
Other than that ??? Its an awsome, dark custom rebel steed out of the box.
I'm really digging the bones, it gets looks every day that I am out riding. At 5'8" the seat seams a bit high and its hard to reach the kickstand, but waiting on smaller springs for mine as well. Loven this bike all around. The ole lady isn't sold on the passanger pillon for long trips but has no isseas for cruzing around town.
