i love my bones...i did the big bore engine kit (103), plus alto of other stuff...i add a link to my photobucket. i have been on a 280 mile ride and a 200 mile ride thus far and have no complaints on comfort...other than the windshield is a must, especially if you like to travel upwards of 75 mph. i just added it before my 200 mile ride and made all the difference in the world. it's a great bike, what kind of deal can you get?

You wont regret getting the bones, Ive had a lowering kit but on mine and changed the springs for 2" custom ones, and it still rides sweet, I feel in the bike other than on top of it as I did before when it was standard, its was like sitting on a Road king before I had the mods done, I have had a heritage for 4 years so getting used to rideing with out a screen, don't really want to put one on the Bones, but might go for a Wind Vest later, mate of mine uses a bag on the Handlebars on long journeys and he reckons its enough to break the wind up off your chest

What kind of handlebar bag does your mate use?

HI I just bought my bones yesterday, I'm 5'2", it is a bit on the tall side, I'm looking to lower it. fourtunately I am female and can very easily buy height with a pair of boots!
For now that will do, I love they way this bike handles, at first I was intimidated coming from a sportster but witing 5 miles I was VERY comfortable with it. I love they way the springer feels in the turns when going slow and with that big rear tire the bike practically holds itself up!

I really like the look of the factory seat, Corbin sells a holywood solo for the bones, I also like corbin seats for confort & styling, Another seat is my backup plan. I love the way the springs look! I want to powdercoat them red to match the pinstriping, probally the the springs in the front end too. who knows what else....

I love my Bones and I am 6'2" I am a being this tall is kind of a pain in the neck LOL.

Riding long distance for me has only caused a 5 min pit stop as my @$$ gets numb.. So may look for a really cushy solo seat as I do not want to loose the spring look on my Bones. As for the handle bars, well the stock ones are fine but for me anything from 16" to 18" might just be perfect cause I am kind of tall. A lot of my friends say dont go higher just change the seat.. So lets see how it goes as I might try the seat method first before changing the handle bars.

Mods Added on my bones:

Harley Engine guard
Black out turn signal lenses
Detachable Sissy bar & pad
Passenger Pegs & Seat
Saddle bags
Skull gas cap

Mods on the way:

V&H True duals with fishtail ends
Power Commander + Air filter
Skull parts here and there

Thats it so far, Oh yeah my Bones is Black Denim
