heat shields

Does anyone know if v/h is selling their new black heat shields separate. Looking for a vender so I can take my chrome ones off and replace with the black 08 model????

paint them with high heat semi gloss black engine paint.

Better yet, take them to a powder coater for a much more durable finish. It'll be much cheaper than buying a new set and you won't have extra parts laying around!

cool idea..i need some one with a photoshop to do that with a pic of my bike to see how it would look...never thought of powder coating the shields...might be interesting

I was asking the same question a while back. I emailed Wendy and asked her. She said that they do not sell the heat shields seperatly.
