I'm sure someone will pop up and give a hundred reasons it wouldn't work - but a HD mechanic told me it would swap with little effort. best I can figure, even the tail light is the same.... HD just turned it upside down for a bobber fender. I find it interesting what each of us likes in a bike. I really like my FatBoy - but wish it had a bobber fender.
I woule be willing to swap out if CDogg isnt. I have been looking for a fender that will fit my 200 rear for a while now. My bike is Black Pearl BTW....
CDOGG44,
I have an 07 Softail Custom and didnt like the rear fender at all so I looked in the J&P catalog and came across a Russ Wernamont Designs rear fender that is made for the 200 series tire.
The fender flows with the rear tire better and doesnt hang down to far so you can see the beefy rear tire.
I came across the same fender on ebay for about $250.00 and have about $150.00 in the paint job and I went with the fender with no tailight so I had to buy a sidemount license plate bracket that has a tailight mounted to it. That was abot $100.00
