I like Jamie's idea. This is my first hog and I did most myself with just a little common sense---the other stuff I took to a mom and pops shop that I've been dealing with for some years....they charge $40-$45 bucks per hour.....even less depending on how much you're having done and whether you stand back there and shoot the breeze with the mechanic, crack jokes, and "hold this, hold that, pass me that, etc"
I do need to buy the manual though; as I wasn't confident enough to do the right side grip once I saw the cable
But, he charged me about $25 to do it.....it only took him about 20 minutes at most
