hard brake line

hard brake line

Good morning everyone - Is it possible to bend the hard rear brake line that comes stock on my FXST? I am putting Supreme Legends 2" extended forwards on, and the line screws into the side of the master cylinder instead of the front. It looks as though I may have enough line to make it work if I could just twist it a little bit. And I could save some cash too... I haven't done anything as of yet, any advice would be welcome. Thanks!

Yes, you can make some slight changes to the original bend in the brake lines. Just be careful ans bend them slowly, no acute bends or it will crack or kink.

I did it on mine whenI put the 2" forward extensions on and agree with aboveto be very gentle. The good news is, if done right, youshould be able touse the existing lines.
