Has anyone put RainX or a similar treatment on their bike windshield?
I went for a ride on Saturday & got caught in some rain.
When it was misting my windshield was fine.
But when I hit the down pour my windshield just seemed to collect the rain drops.
It got soo bad I had to look over my windshield to see where I was going.
I currently have a clear windshield.
I didn't know if the treatment would/could cause the plastic to "fog".
On all my windshields I use the Novus #1 cleaner to get the road grime and bugs off. The HD dealers sell this as a recommended cleaner for the HD Lexan WS. Then I put a coat of the HD Glaze Polish and Sealant which is recommended by HD for the HD Lexan WS. The water just beads and runs off the windshield during rain showers.
