I recently bought a new tank panel for my 07 softail. When I replaced the seat, the silver screw which attaches the tank panel to the bottom of the tank is visible. I can push the seat forward to cover the screw, but then the rear bolt to hold the seat on does not fit properly. The metal plate that holds the seat on seems like it may be the wrong size. Anyone else experienced this?? or is this a manufacturers defect.

 

whatbrand of seat is it? I saw some extentions on Mustang web page.
