I'm looking to put an Air ride system on my 02 Fatboy and I'm looking for some advice. Which systems are the best and most user friendly. I'm looking at the Arnottand the Simplified Air System Kit, but would consider the Arnott, Progressive, or Legend system as well.
Does anyone have an experience with any of these systems???
I'm looking for something to help with two up riding and then slam it on the ground when riding solo or parked.
Stay away from shotgun shocks. I bought one at the dealer show in 07 had problems with it when it got wet it would go hey-wire. co. was supposed to refund money after receiving shock which they never sent to me. Filed complaint with bbb no action. Put progressive 422 on this winter with new fork springs and am very happy. I guess simplicity and comfort now out way the cool factor for me. Air shocks still have aways to go.
Quite a few posts and arguments over the air rides if you search.
I personally went with the SAS on my train and I love it. I keep it lowered 2-3 inches while riding normally, and I think it feels good or better than stock. Haven't ridden with it slammed yet.
