Much, much better! I never did understand why they didn't use that rear fender in the first place. It fits the bike much better

The new fender looks great! I want to do the same thing with my standard, but haven't seen alot of examples. I'm going to try and use a tombstone tailight though, probably going to have to do some mods for that to work. I saw a wide tombstone taillight in the J&P catalog which would look great on yours in black.

thanx to all for the nice compliments. I really like the new look of the old xbones.

sorry no write up or pix taken along the way. I will be happy to give assistance to anyone that wants to do this.... just PM me.

Great Job, I also think is nicer that way......I am not a big fan of the bobtail. I'd love mine with a standard tail, even simplier than the fatboy's...
