I just installed BR on my bike...what a sound....love it!!!!!!
The only problem is that thecheck engine light is on all the time.
I disconected the valve unit that connect to the original rear pipe. I removed it from the bike. I think that when I disconected the unit plug it does the problem.
Are you talking about themotorized valve that's used to redirect the exhaust from both pipes to one that's used on the export bikes?
If so check with some of the guys from Australia, there's an outfit down there that make a resistor pack that plugs into the harness end that fools the ECM into thinking the motor is there and operating properly.
Sorry I can't tell you exacly who/where they are, but I know at least one of those guys has it and should be able to tell you where to get it.
BTW I love the sound of theBR pipes on my bike too.
