Default Heritige bags on a Standard?

Anyone have them? How do they look? PICTURES ANYONE? LOL
I have aftermarket bags on mine, smaller, and they are wrinkled, and they do not seal well at all. Have flaps, and the top folds over. (Water can get in easily) I would like the more formed bags. With a hinged lid, that wraps over like they do.

Heritige bags should fit fine on a Soft Tail standard, right?

Yeah they will fit..HD has a kit that will allow for installation...Easy Brackets are another route. With either one though, you'll have to move the turn signals off the fender or get really small ones with no stem.

Check these out. www.leatherpros.com
Great bags that keep their shape, are easily detachable and can be locked as well as locked to the bike.

Rich, those are a little pricey for me, (I also dislike replys that JUST offer a link to a "Sale") If you have them and just like them allot, no offense meant!

Monk, thanks for the info. I would really like to see some pictures of this setup, if anyone has these on their FXSTS...

I suppose the brackets are not too badly priced? (Hoping to get into the bags for a couple hundred bucks used) Probably get the "Saggybags kit" after I get them,,,,lol

Link didn't work, but c&p it and it does... anyway. Those look a bit more reasonably priced, only I have not a clue as to what size I would like on there? LOL What size are the Heritage bags?

I guess you like the "sale" links if the price is cheaper. Just trying to help. If you looked at my gallery or at my sig pic you would see the bags. Good luck finding some bags.

Rich, sorry if that comment offended you. I was having a bad afternoon. Trying to get the mower started before it rains again for 6 days straight! Came in for a drink of water, and was just grumpy. (I have seen forums where SOME peoples every reply is a link to an item, THEY are usually sponsors, and I see your not one.) It just hit me the wrong way,,,

I see you were just trying to help, and I appreciate it.

Could you find it in your heart to accept my aplogy?
I am kinda set on the Heritage bags, I don't really know why,,, Sure would still like to see pics of one with them.
