Default Lowering Night Train ?

Hi All,

New member...and also going nuts waiting for my new black 2008 NT (should have it in a week). While waiting for it I have been ordering some custom mods, and was wondering about lowering.

When people talk about lowering their NT's are we talking 1" or more ? Would I run into a problem bottoming out on it when 2 up (say 300lbs total passenger weight ?) ???

Any comments appreciated.

Phil

Not sure about a nt but i just lowerd my 08 custom last night and i used burly lowering kit from j&p cycles. with this kit you can ajust the hight with out removeing the shocks once you have them installed, took me about an hour. I lowered mine about 1 and a half inches and went one more round of pre load on the shocks. My girlfriend and i went for a ride last night and no problem bottoming out with wy girlfriend on back. Looks great, i will take photos and post later tonight. Good Luck.
