When I put the Lyndall Z Plus brake pads on my bike the rotors had some scoring...nothing very bad but they were getting beat up by the stock pads. The Lyndall pads have smoothed the rotors a noticable degree. Maybe you could wait a bit on the rotors to see if yours do the same. The brakes I am using came off a 2003 FXSTI.
