I have worked with a great mechanic to troubleshoot everytihng from tyres to steering heads but I still have a wobble over 70mph. The tighter steering has made a small difference but it almost seems it has made it worse at 80mph+
 \\;
We are now scheduled to replace the fork oil with a heavier variant, and progressive springs.
 \\;
Does anyone have any experience of changing oil and springs to solve this front end wobble.
 \\;
Thanks
On my 07 Softail Custom they had a recall or service bulleten that had a new washer or part for the steering head. \\;
 \\;
I did this and tires at the same time and the wobble is gone.

I'm going to see about replacing the bearing, althhough strange the wrench didnt suggest this. It did occur to me but as he didnt mention it I let it go - I will ask him on Monday.

THanks all for the feedback on your experiences.
