Default Looking for some engine advice

I'm asking in the softail thread since this is were I spend most of my time on the forums.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
My bike needs a new base gasket, and since the top end is coming off I'm wondering if there's anything else that can or should be done for a reasonable price to give me a stronger powerplant.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Anybody with an older Fatboy, or any softail,&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;been down this road and have&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;some suggestions?&nbsp\\; It's got Python3's and an S&amp\\;S Super E with no&nbsp\\;engine mods that I know of.&nbsp\\;

#1 upgrade port your heads. if you are doing the work yourself you can keep it cheap. $200-$250 bored to 95/175 high comp cast pistons/139 adj pushrods/600-720 bigger cams(gear driven)/then all gaskets and misc. work can be done in one day.
Good luck
