Ok guy's I'm building up my engine to a 95". Should I replace the heads also or leave stock? Also are the screaming eagle heads the way to go? I have found a few pairs that are priced pretty good. I'm not trying to produce a ground pounder just a little more oomph.
Any input from those that have done it will be great.
Thanks
When I did mine I polished and ported them myself. Had the machine shop freshen up the valve job. Minimal cost. I don't have any dyno numbers but I don't have to downshift to pass anymore.
Do the heads and don't forget to change the cam. \\; You will not regret it.

95 CI, 203 Cam and SE High Perfomance Heads = 92 HP &\\; 97 LBs of Torque
Two ways to go, one is a proven kit build such as one from HeadQuarters with matching components. \\; You cant go wrong and you will easily exceed 100/100. \\;It would include \\;headwork, boring of your cyls, an HQ cam and pistons. \\;
 \\;
 \\;Second, and I have done this build and made 102/112 from a 95 by using HD HTCC Pistons and HTCC heads (not CNC ported) with Woods TW5g cams \\; It is not a race engine but will stretch your arms when rolling on the throttle.

Do some research on this site for others than have done builds, and you will see by far most go aftermarket for better performance gains without sacrificing reliability.
 \\;Go to a \\;harley dealership pick up a pro racing parts catalog "there free" of corse and then you have opened up a whole new way to loose sleep and drive your wife nuts with ideas and information that she don't give a good rat \\;@ss \\; about. You will find your self sitting in the bathroom reading for way too \\;long. I know what you are going through I've been there.
