Yeah, I looked at the Honda's, and Yamaha's too. But, it was just a fleeing glance. \\; I got smart real fast and focused my sights on a Harley! \\; I'm really sorry you had to settle. \\; Looks good though.
Not to thread hijack but it's kind of funny. The other day I was rolling down the road and this woman pulled up next to me in her car... her dog was in her lap and had his head out the window... nothing new seen it a million times.
As we were going down the road she was just ahead of me and I was watching the dog... must of been for about 2 miles. It suddently hit me, that adage "Only a Biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window".
We have a Susuki/ Yamaha dealer here that prices \\;\\\\\\;used, older, rundown \\;\\\\\\;high mileage sportster trade-ins \\;\\\\\\;above what the brand new 2008 Boulvards and Stars cost. \\;\\\\\\; It is really kind of sad.
 \\;
You can find brand new 2004 Runes, 0 miles for $11,000 under msrp...they still dont sell. \\; Honda closed its US motorcycle plant in OH...I think the brand has slipped some over the years.
I took the York Plant tour 2 weeks ago and I recall the tour guide say that, "20% of the Harleys that are built are exported to Japan". \\; Food for thought...
Great comments, keepem coming. \\; What's up with the forum. \\; I can't seem to be able to leave a long post.
 \\;
Any other experiences out there?

I was laughing to myself at the next stop light.

At least the dog wasn't wearing a full face helmet, or demanding his own windshield...[8D]
