Default Touring guy needs help with Heritage backrest

I'm kind of out of my realm here.&nbsp\\; Usually hanging out in the Touring section.&nbsp\\; Looks nice around here, though promise not to overstay my welcome.
&nbsp\\;
My neighbor rides an '07 Heritage Classic and his wife asked me to buy him a rider's backrest for his birthday.&nbsp\\; I have one on my Road King but the RK has a one piece two-up saddle with a slot in the middle, just for adding this backrest.
&nbsp\\;
Can we do something similar to his Heritage?&nbsp\\; She doesn't want to buy a new seat.&nbsp\\; It's basically the stock 2 piece, with a passenger sissy bar and backrest.&nbsp\\; And I'm sure they want to keep it ready for 2-up.&nbsp\\; I've been to the HD website but can't figure it out.&nbsp\\; Or... it's not possible.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks for your help.&nbsp\\; Don't be a stranger.

I dont think Harley makes one, think you will have to go elsewhere, I went to mustang, but had to buy a whole seat.

I also looked for the cheap backrest option for my 08 Heritage.&nbsp\\; Only thing I could find was firehouse customs backrest.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Price is right but unfortunately it's not adjustable and it doesn't fold forward for mounting.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Next least expensive option is the HD 2 up #51562-00A.&nbsp\\; Probably get it at one of the online discounters for $399.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;After that it's the Mustang which will run close to&nbsp\\;$700 for the 2up.
&nbsp\\;
That's what I've come up with.&nbsp\\; Still haven't decided.&nbsp\\;

The Touring police sent me to take you back!
Come along quietly and nobody gets hurt.&nbsp\\; LMAO
Gotta buy a new seat to do what you want.
Sorry Softailers for the intrusion.

Hey barkster99,&nbsp\\; gotta check for any that flee the reservation ya know.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; LOL
Softails are great bikes,&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; MY WIFE RIDES ONE!&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; LMAO
Seriously though, I am a longtime Softailer that made the inevitable switch to a bagger a few years ago.&nbsp\\; Too old for anything else I guess.&nbsp\\; LOL
Still have a "Softspot" for Softails, old school softies that is.

For the past 5000 miles or so I've been using this:

&nbsp\\;
and it works great.&nbsp\\; Must be used with HD pillion.&nbsp\\; Moves you closer an inch or two.

I have one of the FirehouseCustoms also...it works OK...I wish I could adjust it a bit but for the money it is OK.
