Default Back Rest

I have a 07 ultra I put the HD back rest on my question is how to yo uget it off to take the seat off. One person said to just push and twist from the left side and it rotate out. I have pushed hard enough to nearly flip the bike over, any one with ideas that worked for them?

Follow the meatal bar down into the slot it goes in. There is a metal tab that you pull back and the lift the backrest up.

&nbsp\\; Get a flashlight and look down inside the slot of you seat. On the top side of the bracket that
holds your backrest is&nbsp\\;a tongue or at least that is what I call it. Lift up on that tongue and pull your backrest up&nbsp\\;at the same time and your backrest will be released. When you install the backrest you will need to pull up the tongue again and slide the backrest into the slot.
