Looking at the crank sprocket it appears to be either the bent crank stub that your suspecting, or the crank sprocket isn't true to the shaft. Cause it sure is moving a bunch more than I would think should be normal.
But the only way to tell would be to turn it over with a dial indicator on the shaft to see if its out more than the toleances allow for.
