You can do it. \\; The hardest part will be breaking the nuts that hold the stock shocks on. \\; Someone told me to use a looonnnggg wratchet and stand on it to get it to break free.
Replacing the shocks outright is much easier than installing the typical lowering kit. I spent over an hour attempting to do the lowering kit myself before giving up and having local indy do the job. And yes, those bolts are tight... I got that far before throwing in the towel!
