Ok guys, I know, I know. If I wanted a windshield I should have bought a different bike. But I love riding this one so much!!!!
Anyway, I have a long freeway ride to work, and am thinking about a windshield. My local dealer was also showing me a windvest? I thought the wind vest looked pretty cool with the smoked finish. I need some help for the guys that know. Thoughts?
If you want a windvest, \\;the company \\;was just finishing up one that will fit the Cross bones, think it is only in the 14 inch right now, I called them a few weeks ago about it.
Doing al lot of highway-miles, I needed some of the windpressure taken off my chest. My arms started to get longer every day. But I did not liked the windshield on a Bones.
This solution makes a \\;difference, and I can put my GPS in it as well.
I got a Harley quick release windshield for a Springer half price. Just as well I got the dealer to fit it as the headlamp had to be loosened to put it on.
Over 70 on a motorway I'd prefer to be comfortable than look cool. Essential on my Rocket 111 as that tends to get ridden a lot faster. But then I haven't ridden it since I got the Cross Bones.
How these guys hang on to naked bikes at 150 mph beats me.
