I was thinking to get V+H big radius 2 into 1 for my Fatboy, I didn't know they also make slip-ons for Softail. Since I have the same slip-on on my Sportster 1200, I really love the sound, performace and look, I would like to keep the original exhaust equalizer pipe to reserve back pressure, what do you guys think? Who has the same slip-on? How do you like it? Thanks Alex
You dont need the equallizer pipe for two onto ones.

The fact that both pipes go into one serves that purpose. What will happen is that the flow of one pipe will pull the air from the other. It will switch back and forth. It gives good performance at the specified rpm for the pipe. Those should give performance gains thru a broad range of rpm. Talk to manufacterer to see what will work best if your worried about performance.

I have two into twos and im happy with performance but i wanted looks more than performance.

oops...I forgot the 2 into 1 is already joined, stupid me. I still want to keep the original pipe, I don't like blue on exhaust system, it seems like no matter how good you tune your bike, you still get a bit.
