just adjusted mine down yesterday after reading this thread took 5 minutes and I think I will use it now, factory setting made me lift my foot off the floorboard, never thought to adjust it.
Thanks for the heads up Jimmers
Rode with it for a few weeks when i got my fatboy, and took it off soon afterl. too many **** my pants moments from trying to get both feet down at a light only to realize my jeans got caught on the rear shifter! BTW, any links to the caps for the shifter shaft? Didnt know they made it.
 \\;
Not the best pic, but the cap cleans everything up nicely, and is a HD part BTW:
 \\;
First time I rode with heel shifter, it took about 30 seconds to get used to it. \\; Now I'd never get rid of it. \\; I've never caught anything on it. I'm not sure how I could. \\;
Mine is still on but I've been thinking of \\;\\\\\\;taking it off \\;\\\\\\;since I don't use it and when I shift with the toe shifter, the heel shifter comes down on the side of \\;\\\\\\;the heel of my boot and makes it hard to shift.
The only reason mine is still on is that I don't have the cap for the end of the shaft yet...
 \\;\\\\\\;
Don't like it... don't use it...
