Hey, I'm still running my F-boy without front turn signals after changing bars to 16in. apes. \\; I have the wirirng zip tied behind tins while I decided on what arrangement I'm gonna go with....well I think I want the light bar.
Can someone tell me how install was.....I figuring I need to grab power from the low beam circuit to toggle switch. Had buddy help with bars and had tank off not long ago and not real excited bout doing it again and w/ EFI don't want a gasoline bath, \\; can I make a clean connection without the tank off. \\;
Anything you can tell me before ordering parts getting would it be appreciated.
If I remember correctly and if \\;you are talking about installing \\;passing lamps, you've gotta get power from the fuse block along with connecting to the low beam wire inside the headlight.
yeah, you can connect without pulling the tank, but IIRC, but pulling it makes connecting to the wiring easier and is the clean way - the way I did it.
Parts I used...
Auxiliary Lamp Bulb Kit (bulbs) 68348-05
Bullet Turn Signal Conversion Kit 69079-04
Auxiliary Lighting Kit 69287-07
i was thinking there was a yellow wire near the switch location all ready. i don't recall having to pull the tank or anything to wire it up. i have an 04 fatboy carbed.
