Need som specifics. Am leaning toward the Fat Boy and would like to know the good and the bad. I'm sure, even though this is the thread for the Fat Boy there must be some negitives associated with the Fat Boy. Please help
My only comment is that there are not enough nice days here on Long Island to ride everyday on the 03 chromed up fatboy. I just turned 15600 miles, and have to get new rubber soon. I never rode a dyna, but I rode a electra glide, and I know I made the right choice. Good luck.
The solid wheels make it a little tough to handle in high wind situations. There are bikes that are more suited for longer rides, but the question becomes, what are you planning to ride...long trips or bar hopping trips around town...
Great looking bikes, I'm in no way dissing the FB, I'd like to have one in the garage!
Get this, the wife and I just road a Fat Boy today[8D]
A Harley dealer had a demo days and we just wanted to see what other bikes felt like.
I thought it was so much lighter than my Ultra, it handled so much faster than my Ultra does.
I would buy one in a heart beet, if I was going to get a second bike[8D]
Edit time here.
It was also windy=15/20 MPH winds and the wind never crossed my mind.
I don't by the wind thing because of the solid wheels[sm=dontgetit.gif]
