Ok, getting ready to pull the trigger on a FXDC but recently been considering a Fat Boy. Any feedback on this? The FB to mee seems a bit bulky in turnswhich mabe is why it is a FB. Anyay, comment if you can if you an experience or opinion.
Idon't believe anyone can tell you what is best for you. I thought I wanted the fat boy before I spent the 125 to rent different ones for a day. My dealership lets you try out a bunch (I tried out 7) during the day and then I kept the one I like the best for the rest of the day. For me it turned out to be the the wide glide. See if that is an option if going to a dealership. Good luck
These two bikes handle and feel way way different from one another. I rented a Fatboy for a day before I bought my Dyna. Spend a few bucks and rent both bikes and then you will know for sure...
My son loved his Fat Boy and I love my Dyna Super Glide Custom. Totally different rides. But it all boils down to you and what you prefer. Ride both and then decide. Remember, the more you ride, the bike will seem to get smaller.
My experience matches yours. Fatboy handling matches the name. Fatboys and Softails in general have a certain charisma, but if you're planning on doing more than riding to the bar, go with the Super Glide. Dynas rule.
