It basicaly comes down (for me anyway) to whichone you like looking at more ...ride aside (hear me out) because this was a choice I had to make too. Fat Boy -v- Low Rider. I was so torn that when I went to the Stealers to order and sat down I still didn't know. I have friends who have a Fat Boys and have riden them across the country. The ride is just one part of it.Listen to your gut. Both have advantages over the other. One may have a slightly better ride and the other...well you get it. I rode a Fat Bob and a Night Train when I was looking for a bike. I didn't like the forward controls, they made the bikes (me) seem clumsy in the corners. I would have bought an FXDC if a vivid black Lowrider wasn't wheeled in front of me that day.
Ride the FB and the FXDC to be sure. Both are great bikes, but one is clumsy.

IMHO if you are going to ride twisties then go with the FXDC if you are going to ride straight lines the the Fatboy. It really is your decision and one you will have to live with though.
