I have owned a dozen different bikes through the years but never a Harley. \\; My new Softail Deluxe has about 150 miles on it after the weekend. \\; Between 25 and 35 mph the handlebars wobble... \\; fine before and after, that just happens to be the sweet spot.
 \\;
I figured the wheel was just out of balance, but when I called the dealership to see about bringing it in, they said "its just a Softail thing" \\;
 \\;
WTF!!! \\; Is this true? \\; I know it cant be, but tell me my Dealership is not feeding me full of ****. \\; Is it just out of balance?
 \\;
Thanks,
 \\;

I've ridden a half dozen different softails for years and never had that problem. \\; Something isn't right or it wouldn't wobble. \\; Take it in and tell them to FIX it.
Do a search here... the Search button is your friend!  \\;There are a whole lot of threads discussing the wobbles, and as I recall reading through most quite some time back there were a number of bikes that did, and a whole lot that didn't. Also, if I recall correctly it mostly seemed to stem from steering head adjustments. I'd follow the procedure in the manual to test it, or have the stealer check the steering head adjustment for you.

You would think that the dealer does'nt get paid for warranty work by the way they try to avoid the work with riduculous statements like they made to you! any good dealer would say "Bring it in and let's check it". Whilst you wait for them to check it you may wander over to th motor clothes or the accessories departments and spend a little scoot.
I would call the GM of the dealership and report this ignoramus who is costing the dealership MONEY!
BTW have had 3 softies and none of them ever ever wiggled or wobbled unless it was caused by a loose nut behind the handle bars.
My Deluxe did it also. \\; Was told by my dealer that when they assemble the bikes sometimes the steering neck does not seat \\;in fully. \\; You take it out on the road and hit a bump and it knocks it into position which in turn leave the neck bolt loose and causes your issue. \\; The simply need to tighten the steering neck to spec. \\; Simple adjustment and it should be covered under warrantee this first time. \\; From this time forward though it is considered an adjustment that is not covered under warrantee.
