Well djcustom....I'd have to say that you got your answer. \\; Although I'm gonna give you my $.02 worth as well.....lol \\; \\; Basically the same as what most of the others were saying. \\; I love my short shots. \\; They have an awsome rumble to them. \\; I don't think they are overly obnoxious, but when you get on the gas these pipes definately tell everyone that you are coming down the street. \\; Your initial question was, are they much louder than stock pipes? \\; Pretty much any set of aftermarket pipes are going to be louder than stock. \\;
