Default Fatboy front blinker relocation how-to

I used a bolt. Pull your bottom side bolt out go to the hardware store and get one that is about 3/4" longer, take that bolt to Harley get a chrome spacer about a 1/4" thick that will fit over the bolt and 3 star washers. Take your blinker's off of the mirror's remove all the mounting garbage. Here is where you are going to say "you want me to do WHAT" Pull the light bulb out, in the back of the socket there is a gap, use a pick tool to grab ahold in there and pull the gut's out, it will be tight due to the wiring (a little bit of liquid soap on the wire before you start pulling will help with this) pull it far enough so that you have some room to work inside but dont pull it all the way out. Get a drill bit that will take JUST the thread's out of the light housing. Test fit the new bolt you got it should fit perfectly, if not SLOWLY drill larger bit's till it fit's. Here is where the fun begain's put the bolt through the housing with a star washer (so the head is in side the housing) slide one of the star washers against the housing then the spacer then the other star washer. Thread that into the hole that you took the orignal bolt out of, hand tighten it as far as you can, then with the wrench it goes slow due to the little room you have to work the wrench. A little tip is to have the light a little high so when you get it pretty tight with the wrench you can just turn the whole assembly down to level position and tighten it slightly at the same time. After that pull the wiring back at the same time you push the internals of the blinker back in. Viola your done. I am going to add a few pic's here in a minute I have to go to the garage and take them. I got a PM asking how to do this so I figured I would just post it up also.

Here is a close up of the finished product. You can see the spacer I am talking about in this picture.

Here is a pic of how I routed the wiring after the fact. It is zip tied back behind the tin, then again against the wiring by the frame. You will end up with extra wire I just tied it all together and neatly tucked it behind the tin.
