My bad day...
Since I relocated back to NJ and now have a garage I was unpacking some stuff and came across a new set of larger iso-pegs w/ stirrups I bought at one of the Rockingham, NC AHDRA events. I had totally forgotten about them. Anyway, I figure I'll take 30min and install them. My brake pedal was sticking so I figured that'd be a good time to clean and lube that as well.
The left side peg goes on without issue.
The right side....well...not so much.
I remove the bolt holding the pegs to the stanchion. No problem.
That exposes the T-40 torx bolt that holds the brake pedal assembly all together. Oooook.
Grab my t-40 socket. After a few moments, I snap the bit. Ok. I go buy another one. The bolt is just frozen. Didn't want to damage the new bit so I grab one of my EZ-outs. Drill the bolt, tap the ez-out in and try to loosen the bolt. Try one more time and all of a sudden my ez-out snaps flush with the head of the bolt. OH CRAP.
Picture of the snapped ez-out in the bolt:

I try the 'ol 'tapping the head of the bolt with a screwdriver' trick hoping to loosen it that way. Nope.
I try to drill the ez-out, out. Nope.
My bud stops by and we're brainstorming. I remove the whole bracket from the frame and he suggests drilling and tapping the bolt from the back side. Makes sense. Once you install a bolt in the backside of the stuck one, the more you tighten it, you could actually loosen the stuck one.
Drill the bolt....begin to tap it and don't ya just know I snapped the tap off in the bolt.......flush.
Oh well, I'll get it apart one way or another.
