Need help! I ride an 07 Fatboy and I can just touch the ground with tall boots. \\; I extended my floorboards out and inch so I don't want to lower the bike, due to cornering. \\; Has anyone found a good looking solo saddle to help short guys stand flat footed at a stop sign?
[had a link to a search query for you, but the forum issues hacked up the string... just click the Search button up above, enter the keywords solo seat fatboy, and you'll find a lot of useful discussion]

I'm really happy with my C&\\;C Solo, and I also have a C&\\;C Sport Tour for when we ride two-up:
It lowers the center quite a bit, gives real good support on the lower back, and is well-made.
Depending on how much you want to spend, I just bought the HD badlander, reasonable price, it sits lower but hard as a rock. A comfy seat usually has more padding and sits higher.
I got a "free" softtail standard seat and had Mean City Cycles rework it. I had them lower the seat 2" and move me back 2"... and they put in \\;memory foam. great seat for $100.

I have a Danny Grey Speed Cradle. It's designed for the shorter rider. Compared to stock seat it brings you down about 1.5" and 2" forward. . Danny Grey LINK HERE
Why would you put on Board Extenders if you are short? The wider you go the greater the leg extension you need it will wear on your knees after a while.
The Saddlemen explorer seat lowers you a little bit and is more comfortable.
