Default Quick Release vs. Detachable Windshields

Does anyone have any comments about which one is better?&nbsp\\; Seems to me that there would be problems with the Quick Release coming loose during longer rides.

Sorry-tried posting a response but got bit. I can't see how it could be an issue-I've had mine up to 100 before and it is rock-solid. They attach very firmly, and require quite a bit of effort to remove (at least mine does), and with the forces of the wind I think it would be nearly impossible for it to come off on its own. It is awfully nice to be able to easily remove it, though, especially if staying somewhere questionable.

I had the quick release (4 clamps no mounting hardware) on my sportster, now I have the detachable with mounting hardware on my Bones. It was nicer to have no mounting hardware left behind when I took it off and the quick release was more solid, they both work fine but there was no way the quick release was going anywhere the clamps seemed much more secure, if I had the option with the springer front end I would have went quick release.

I agree. Mine is rock solid as well and takes a fair amount of effort to pull it out of the rubber grommets.
