I need some help from the guys that know. I'm torn between the V&\\;H short shot staggered and the D&\\;D 2 into 1 fat cat for my bones. I've heard the D&\\;D at the dealer, it sounds nice. I have not heard the V&\\;H but the dealer said they are louder, but I will love them. Any and all advice or comments would be greatly appreciated....Thanks
If its performance that you want go with a 2into1. I personally dont like the sound of the D&D 2into1 but love the sound of the Hooker 2into1. I think if its tone that you are looking for that you should go with the V&H BR
I've got the Sort Shots with quiet baffles for the benefit of my neighbours in the early morning. Love em and they have the added benfit of bing one of the least expensive.
I have a question......when you all changed your exhaust from factory... did you have to re-map or buy a different air filter? just wondering becuase i just purchased the rush slip on with 2' baff. Some people are saying that i will need to do both.
I believe you maybe able to get away without the reload, with stock head pipes.  \\;but would definitely go with the air filter upgrade..!!!
The dealer will probably recommend that you get a download ?? If you have the cash now,,,, get some sort of fuel management system as well. It will only do your bike justice and run at its best and allowing to do anything you want in the future.
 \\;
also, \\; with rush, I was told that I will not be able to go higher than 2.00 baffles anyway even though I have the SERT, they will not sell me the upgrade to the 2.25 baffle, they are saying the bike will not work properly.
 \\;
* Not to confuse the issues or question,,, talked with a tech today,.. he was being pretty honest.. in saying that a dyno tune with some exhausts will not always eliminate popping issues??
thanks for the info so far, \\; the dealer said I will need a super tuner to keep the fuel/air mix right... I'm also going with a different air filter as well.... please keep your thoughts coming... I love the advice and all of the different ideas and opinions.....
I know that Scott, Screaming_Eagle, has the D&\\;D on his XBones. \\; If you look at the pictures, the D&\\;D hangs now really low below the floorboards. \\; He, I believe, has been dragging them in curves. \\; Something to consider since they will probably lower your ground clearance.
