Got a '08 Softail Custom. Candy Red. I absolutely love it! The stock seat is very comfortable and for a guy with a bad back who has gone thru back surgery, I'll say it's the perfect seat for me. you won't be disappointed with it. Very comfortable on the lower back.

Believe it or not that might work to your advantage. If you can find a sissybar that's to your likeing and fits the seat. That shouldn't be too hard. See if it can be fitted with quick disconnect side plates. That way its \\;very easy to switch between the two seat setups.
