I ordered a hi-lo air ride system yesterday and it got me thinking I probably should lower the front end. Since it's already going to be apart \\;\\\\\\;I'll probably go ahead and chrome out the front end (this is getting expensive fast lol)
 \\;\\\\\\;
I need some opinions. Is it worth getting the chrome front end package from Harley or will the chrome lowers alone look fine?
My dealer just quoted a grand for purchase and install on my Heritage. Pricey but man, I parked next to a Heritage exactly like mine except the chrome front end. BIG difference I think.
Order the parts from www.zanottimotor.com or some other discounted online store. \\; I ordered all my parts for my 06 Fatboy for about $500.00, paid an indy shop $240 for labor. \\;
 \\;
And yes, get the whole thing done at the same time.
Install the chrome front end yourself. Using your manual it'll take you an afternoon, unless you are proficient. All you need is a 6mm allen socket, 41mm fork seal tool($25), fork seals and fork oil. It is not hard and you save yourself hundreds.
