If you want deep and loud PM me. I just replaced my D&D's with Rush 1.75's because the D&D's were way too loud for me. they sounded great and would be fine for a bar hopper, but for me and my 3+ hour country cruises, they made my ears ring, not to mention I cringed when I cranked late at night hoping to not wake my neighbors. Nobody complained, but I'm sure everyone knew when I was coming/going. My riding buddies also could not ride too close to me as they said they were too loud. The new Rush 1.75's have solved this for me...sound great and are much more quiet than the D&D's.
I'll let ya have them for $200 plus shipping. They have about 3200 miles on them and I have XiED's so there's a nice carbon coating in them. You'll need to buy new muffler clamps as the ones they came with sucked big time. Get clamps from HD...they're only $9.95 each and are far superior. Since they've already been clamped you'll need to bend the tabs a bit to make 'em fit your bike.
A week after I got my Heritage, I ordered the Vance and Hines slip-ons that were new for this bike. I also installed Xied's. It's a good sound and if you want obnoxious, remove the baffles.
diver, 2 funny b/c i have the same D&\\;Ds and think theyre 2 quiet! now i'm looking again. rineharts, cycle shack, or maybe just go with the full drags.
