What changes if any were done to the Fatboys from 07 to 08?
 \\;\\\\\\;
I was waiting for the 09's to come out to see what \\;\\\\\\;changes they made, but I'm not impressed. So Ive been looking for dealers willing to deal on a 08 over the past week. Well I found a dealer that has a brand new 07 with 3 miles on it that has a chrome front end, chrome rotors, slip on mufflers (not sure what brand), forward controls, \\;\\\\\\;and a \\;\\\\\\;security system. \\;\\\\\\;The extras on it is what I would end up adding on eventually any way. Well except for the exhast. Would probably end up with VH big radius. \\;\\\\\\;How much do you feel I should be able to get this 07 for, or a better question is what would be the most you would offer the dealer for it? Ive only seen pictures form there web site as the bike is 300 miles away.

I would get a 2007 or 2008 model. Hate the blacked out primary cover. New owners are going to have to spend even more to get the bling. If harley wanted to do a blacked out theme, why didn,t they do the front end and headlight etc to match. I personally love my 2007.
I notice some ppl here seem to freel that HD's "chrome" parts add value to the bike. IMO though, it actually cheapens the bike. Polished or painted(ie: black)parts and their finish last longer. HD chrome is notoriously cheap and does not stand up well to a "ridden" bike.

 \\; The offset issue in the front wheel can be corrected easily for only a few bucks worth of parts if I'm currect. Parts between the 2 years are interchangeable.
