Comments on 2009 Fat Boy?

HD has once again managed to screw up the looks of a once gorgeous bike. First they got rid of the great looking traditional Fat Boy tank emblem a few years back and replaced it with a busy looking set of lines and symbols. Now they do a half-n-half model with chrome and wrinkle black. Both look great, but not on the same bike!!!

In fact, I've been to the dealer and even the black denim version has a CHROMED primary side so no worries, hd's website isn't right. There is no black primary side on the 2009 FatBoy... at least here in Canada...

Now the HD site has FLSTF with chrome and low price
Now the site has chrome on the 360 view, they had to have just changed it. ...thing is, the price is still down. I'm thinking they aren't telling/showing the whole story on the site. Something's up here. ...but maybe it's a short term pricing thing as we all know sales are "off" right now.

It is hard for me to believe that HD had the image wrong for that long. I wonder if they changed their minds after reading the negative posts.
