I'm looking at purchasing my first Harley, and I've decided on a Cross Bones. The wife likes the bike, too. This will be our first one, although I used to do some riding before we were married.
I got out the door pricing today for 18500 ( that includes tax ). Thats for a 2008 in vivid black with security system, passenger seat w/sissy bar, and the passenger foot pegs, and document fee, and taxes.
They knocked a few hundred off the MSRP, gave me a bit of a discount on the parts, charged $240 for labor for the extras, and waived the freight and prep...
All in all I think I am pretty happy with this deal, but I was curious what those of you that have dealt with Harley dealers before think.
Probably a good deal, anytime you get them to come off MSRP, you are in good shape, especially in the current year model. \\; I guess since the 09's are around the corner they are making deals. \\;
