I tell my passengers just put your head over my shoulder of the direction we're going to turn in (which gets their body to shift just a bit, not too much, and never in the wrong direction).

i told my wife this advice, looking over my shoulder, it works well.
+2 anticipate turns and stops. find a big parkinglot after hours and do alittle practicing. good luck and have fun!!!
my rules of thumb for my riders..do what my body does..makes it easier taking turns..+3 on anticipating slowing down/stopping!+1 on looking over shoulders..great advice!
