Oh well, wonder if the tall version would be much better?
I prefer the normal size windshield on my Deluxe. I have two shields, one I cut down so I could look over it, and the other to look thru it. After trying both, I decided I prefer to get the max protection from the wind. If I'm going around town, I take off the shield and get the full wind in the face. On the highway, I prefer the protection. I got a replacement shield from Cee Baily that fits the nostalgic hardware and is actually thicker than the OEM HD plastic. Very good clarity and a good price.

I got the clear and I ordered the larger size. I forget the exact dimensions but wanted the max protection. I used to look thru my original HD shield until I replaced my Sundowner seat with a Mustang. Suddenly the top of the shield was at eye level and was very annoying. That's why I ordered the larger size from Cee Baily. I cut down my original shield so I can look over it. So I now have two shields. But I decided if I'm riding with a shield at all, it's the larger one.

I have both the low profile and the standard height windshields and prefer the low profile. I would be willing to sell you the standard height windshield (57140-05) for $250.00. I used it one time and it's in perfect condition.

If you are interested you can e-mail me at tc88hog@hotmail.com.
