If your not planning any additional mods (cams, big bore kit ect) the Fuel Pak should work OK for you, but the people I know that have them alos have the stock MAP , not stage 1 flash. I think the Fuel PAK works well with only pipes and AC mods and especially if the pipes are V & H.
The PC lll will give you more flexability, but to get the most out of it you need to get the bike on a dyno , so a lot more $.
Best IMO is the SERT or as it is now called the SE Super Tuner but again a lot more $ and you need to have a good dyno guy.
I have the PC III and am very satisfied with it's performance. My bike also popped on decel until I added fuel to the 0% throttle columns. Now it just gurgles. And it runs like a scalded dog.
Ride safe, and often
I also use the PCIII, Samson exhaust SE Stage I. runs like a champ...but i do have plans for some cams. The fuel pak would be a good fit for my application.
FuelPak is okay for minor mods such as Stage 1 upgrade. Any mods done internally to your engine like cams and what not, you should be looking at something that you can do a lot of fine tuning with.
since cams are in my future - I went with the power commander. getting it from Fuelmoto was the only way to go. it came with the custom map loaded. no popping at all. I've not had it dynoed - can't imagine it running any better. maybe after cams, I'll dyno it.
