Deluxe Shock Question
I am thinking of making a simple stand/lift this weekend to help me work on & detail my 08 Deluxe. Does anyone here know how far below the frame rails the rear shock protrudes at the worst case (which I assume is with no load on the rear wheel).
The stand will just be a laminated 2 x 6 or 2 x 8 with gussets that will stabilize the setup when the bike is on it.
With any luck this will help me scrub those whitewalls that require sooo much attention...
