I have a Night Train right now and I am really considering buying an 07 Deluxe. My question is... how is it on roads with a lot of turns... My normal commute isfreeway, but my weekend riding is on roads with a lot of turns...
On a Deluxe do you sit on it or in it, if you know what I mean. I took one for a test ride, but they only let me drive it about 1 mile...lol
Ditto what Volkdeluxe said.It is more likesitting "in it" than on it. Don't worry about scraping the floor boards; if you do, they willpivot, so just lean into it more and give it some gas.
I rode with a friend last Saturday and it looks like you sit in the bike . The seatsets lower than mine. The Deluxe is a sharp looking bike. Not crazy about the handle bars ,jmo.
I have owned my deluxe for about 2 months now and it feels great. I've done highway and country riding and all I can say is that it handlesgreat on both. Yes, the boards will scrape if you lean hard, but most bikes will do that. Handlebarsare a personal thing. Most people end up replacing them anyway. I'm 5'5 and I had to tilt them down a bit because the position they were in had my elbows up all the time. The mini-ape bars look great on the deluxe. They're not my forte but I've seen some awesome deluxe's with many different setups. Hope you find what you're looking for,

I was down at the Harley shop today. I sat on one. Your down in it, like any Softail. I'm 6' It was cramped feeling to me. The bars are close. The footboards are farther back than my 00 Heritage. Definetly made for shorter people. I'm not saying women. It's like sitting on a low Sportster though.
Sharp bike. That tail light with that T/Sig light bar makes it.
