I have to agree with Dixie Dreg...had you known you were racing, the outcome might have been different. Also, unless you're willing to "amp" the engine itself, the hypo only acts as "eye-candy".

ok maybe it is just for looks and only flow more air at speed but then I
normally ride 70+ and I feel it help plus it looks bitchen and didn't cost that much or mor than one of those pointy things that I hate the looks of..
sorry but I like mine and every body that I have talked to that has one
like theirs also..

Don't take it personal. If you like yours thats cool, we're just saying that they are not a power adder.

big sucker fuel pack and V&H exhaust

Can´t say if there is much or any real power gains but it sounds nice the fuel pack cuts out most of the popping on over run and the airfilter looks neater and seems not to stick out so far using the HD chrome cover (it does not seem push my leg out so far)
if you want realy noticable increase in power then it will be a costly route with mechanical upgrades. i´m happy with mine cost not too bad and the 96b fatboy runs like a dream.

Actually if you examine the Hypercharger you will find vents on the bottom that could REDUCE pressure inside causing lower pressure and as a result may in fact reduce performance @ speed.
